Our transformation methodology maximizes your technology investment by helping you anticipate, create, and enhance your ability to manage change.

We believe that offering technology solutions WITHOUT enabling the right behaviors and processes leads to failure.

Whether your organization is proactively implementing change in a large-scale transformation program or reacting to an unplanned event, we leverage our technology and your people to help predict what is needed and when. Our approach is grounded in human centered interactions.

DESIGN YIELDS BETTER OUTCOMES

OUTCOME #1
Great ideas and solutions: What is the future of your organization? What does success look like?

We know that great ideas emerge as a result of the right people interacting with the right information. We use creative methods to uncover, develop and test ideas until the optimal ones rise to the top. Allowing participants the opportunities to share their ideas creates a more substantive experience.

OUTCOME #2
Alignment of stakeholders: People support what they help to create.

Imagine an experience that people can rally around. This fosters community and uncovers change champions for the future. Because everyone has had a hand in building ideas, these ideas are better supported and influence how people make decisions, including who they trust to help them act on those decisions when the time comes.

OUTCOME #3
Increased speed to commitment: Collaborative experiences are the currency of commitment.

How can we create an experience that people find engaging and quickly promotes enthusiasm for taking action? Collaboration needs to be fueled with new knowledge which enables participants to quickly understand and apply thought leadership to their desired roadmap of the future.

OUR METHOD IS CHARACTERIZED BY THE FOLLOWING ELEMENTS:

  • Accelerated approach. Quick alignment of large groups of people in very complex design work as well as development of solutions in 1–4 days that would typically take 4–7 months.

  • Highly collaborative. Bringing together and actively involving up to 500 participants in the development of the solution so that alignment is reached together with real ownership.

  • Creates change-enabling culture. Creative, engaging approaches to solving complex problems creates excitement and interest due to unique collaboration experiences — instant way to create a room full of change-enablers.

  • Faster return on investment. ARC5 sessions reduce the assess and design phase timelines, allowing for faster implementation and realization of financial benefits.

  • Adaptive. Used for anything from creating a vision and strategy to developing a new product, re-engineering business processes, generating business requirements or designing an IT architecture.

LIFECYCLE OF A TRANSFORMATION

STRATEGY/DESIGN/BUILD

Discovery Innovation - Explore the untapped whitespace. Immerse your organization in the trends and challenges to uncover new areas of investment that will create lasting value.

Macro and Micro Strategy Formulation - Formulate your strategy to drive revenue through the creation of new products and services. Enter a new market or channel with the organization rallied behind your strategy.

Strategy Refresh - Give your strategy a vitamin boost -- whether annually or throughout the year -- engaging your leadership team to leverage new data and information to improve, optimize or course correct and refine your strategy.

Strategy Alignment - Putting people on the same page. Rapidly align multiple levels of the organization around the strategy to maximize value, increase productivity and galvanize the community behind the collective mission; break down silos, flatten organizations, open channels of communication.

Transformation Business Case Creation - Set your value targets. Engage decision makers to agree on the business case inputs, benefit calculation approach and benefit goals.

Initiative Prioritization/Roadmap - What’s important and when? Brainstorm the portfolio of initiatives and investments which will enable the strategy and realize your goals. Assemble initiatives into a transformation approach and roadmap.

IMPLEMENT/EXECUTE

Program Kick-off - Create a sense of urgency. Jump start the momentum required to engage the community in understanding the program goals and leveraging the knowledge and experience of the organization to execute on the strategy. Create change champions from the start and instill confidence that the team will be successful.

Target Operating Model Design - Design the high level future state. Engage experts from across the organization to co-create the target model which will be the guardrail for detailed design. Design right to optimize execution.

Design Kick-off and Rapid Requirements Gathering - Get into the details. Why take months to define requirements when you can lock them down in a few days? Rapidly design capabilities and the detailed requirements that will bring them to life, reduce downstream waste and stick to the timeline with the community standing behind the requirements. People own what they help to create.

Design Validation - Engage the community to touch, feel, react to and refine the design. Answer any open big-rock design challenges. Make it real by seeing demos of solutions and addressing final tweaks necessary to bring the whole thing to life.  Create a consistent transformation story for the community to share with the rest of the organization.

Prototyping/Pilot/Agile Scrums - Kick start pilots early in the design/build phases to learn and refine the overall design. Collaboratively engage focus groups in an immersion pilot experience to provide invaluable real time feedback to the development teams.

Rapid Decision Making - Leverage a structured decision making process to rapidly engage the right stakeholders at the right time to make the right decisions. Reduce second guessing, boost confidence by ensuring you have leveraged the right knowledge and information, and drive to the answer once and for all. In mere days make decisions and solve complex problems that normally would have taken a year or more to make.

Workstream Checkpoints - Taking your temperature. Stay on track. Where are we and how are we feeling? Project teams come together to cross-pollinate ideas, identify dependencies and address interim design questions along the transformation lifecycle, ensuring that potential roadblocks are addressed quickly and any new opportunities can be seized.

Implementation Planning and Roadmap - Prepare for go-live. Nail down the nuts and bolts of the implementation plan, from turning on the new ‘system’ to sunsetting old legacy systems and any transition activities along the way. Align the team around core training, communications and change management approaches. Identify and engage change champions to drive the implementation. Identify core culture and behavior changes required to ensure value is realized.

Launch Immersion Experience - Once the direction has been designed and validated, all stakeholders will need to know the path forward. Immerse them in a learning environment that immediately aligns the organization on the strategic direction.
